You use the AQUILA monitoring system to monitor torsional vibrations as well as additional analog and CAN variables in the powertrain. It helps you to detect wear, safety and cost risks at an early stage. Live on-site monitoring and data analysis via the AQUILA Cloud & Analysis Platform enable you to detect damage early, extend maintenance intervals and reduce downtime. The application area includes rotating components in drive trains of e.g. ships, construction and agricultural vehicles, compressors, gas and steam turbines or wind turbines.

The measurement system is individually configured for your application with hardware, software and cloud dashboards. This allows you to monitor speed measurement values of critical components. In addition, you can monitor additional analog variables relevant for special applications, such as airborne and structure-borne noise, acceleration, temperature, displacement or pressure.

ON-SITE
MONITORING

On-site continuous monitoring of rotating components forms the basis for safe operation of the monitored powertrain. A local and user-friendly monitoring dashboard gives you an overview of the current operating point of the monitored component at all times. In this way, you keep operating costs low, increase the life time of the components and the safety and reliability of the powertrain.

ANALYSIS PLATFORM

With the AQUILA cloud & analytics platform you are able to remotely monitor parts and components an
d generate imortant custom status reports. You receive a predictive analysis and warnings before they become critical conditions. Based on this data, you optimize the load on the powertrain, the gearbox and its maintenance intervals.

MEASURING PRINCIPLE

The measuring principle, which has been proven for more than 30 years in automotive engineering, is based on high-resolution angular equidistant time stamps. It is speed-independent and equally suitable for fast-rotating components as for slow-rotating components. With the possibility to determine the torsion angle between two measuring points, you get a unique added value for a variety of monitoring scenarios.

SYSTEM

You can easily integrate the measuring system software into the ship's network or into an existing AMS (Automated Manifest System). You can also use the monitoring hardware in combination with all dampers.
